
Slow Cooker Oatmeal · Breakfast
serves 6-8
Ingredients
1 cup milk (soy, rice, cow... your choice)
1 cup coconut milk
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 cup organic regular rolled oats (thick rolled will result in a chewier texture but steel cut won't work for this recipe)
1 cup finely chopped apple
1 cup dried cranberries or chopped dates
1/2 cup walnuts or slivered almonds
Directions
1. Grease the inside walls of the crockpot with butter or butter substitute
2. Put all ingredients in and mix to combine
3. Cover and cook on low heat for 8-9 hours
4. Go to bed. C'mon, just go! When you wake up, there will be oatmeal (best oatmeal ever actually).
