Where we volunteer!
Hunger Task Force Senior Stock Box Builds | 300 E. College Avenue | MKE
We often don't think of seniors when we think of people in need of food. Senior Stock Boxes provide staple items to supplement monthly grocery needs for qualifying low income seniors. We'll be packing up boxes which will then be distributed to senior centers and other drop sites across Metro Milwaukee.
Volunteers must be 16 years or older, or may be age 12-15 with a chaperone. All volunteers must also be able to lift 30+ pounds; plan for lifting, twisting and bending; and stand for long periods of time. Closed-toe sturdy shoes must be worn - no sandals.
Hunger Task Force Food Sort | 201 S. Hawley Ct. | MKE
Food sorts are fast, fun and fabulous! We're literally sorting all kinds of donated food items into neat and organized boxes that are then delivered to emergency food pantries across our community. Folks in need of emergency food can 'shop' these food pantries to supplement their monthly food needs.

Hunger Task Force Farm | 9000 S. 68th St. | Franklin
Be a farmer for a day! The Hunger Task Force Farm is a unique 208-acre urban farm. During the growing season, The Farm infuses half a million pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables into our food bank’s supply, enhancing the nutrition of those who normally rely on canned or nonperishable foods. They grow a variety of different produce, including peppers, tomatoes, corn, watermelon, beans, spinach, greens, broccoli, cauliflower, apples, pears, butternut squash, cabbage and more.
