Where we volunteer!
Hunger Task Force | 5000 W. Electric Ave. | West Milwaukee
Food sorts are fast, fun and fabulous! We're literally sorting all kinds of donated food items into neat and organized boxes that are then delivered to emergency food pantries and senior centers across our community.
Volunteers must be 16 years or older, or may be age 12-15 with a chaperone. All volunteers must also be able to lift 30+ pounds; plan for lifting, twisting and bending; and stand for long periods of time. Closed-toe sturdy shoes must be worn - no sandals.

Be a farmer for a day! The Hunger Task Force Farm is a unique 208-acre urban farm. During the growing season, The Farm infuses half a million pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables into the HTF food bank’s supply, enhancing the nutrition of those who normally rely on canned or nonperishable foods.
Volunteers must be 16 years or older, or may be age 12-15 with a chaperone. All volunteers must also be able to lift 30+ pounds; plan for lifting, twisting and bending; and stand for long periods of time. Dress appropriately for working outdoors. Layers are recommended, as is clothing that allows maximum flexibility. Closed-toe sturdy shoes must be worn – no sandals.
