Consumer Advisory: Everything Sprouts, LLC, organic alfalfa sprouts

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) has confirmed 17 cases of Shiga toxin-producing E.coli (STEC) and Salmonella in Wisconsinites related to eating alfalfa sprouts from Everything Sprouts sold under the Calco and Everything Sprouts brands. One person has been hospitalized.
Salmonella poisoning can cause diarrhea, fever, severe vomiting, dehydration and stomach cramps. Contact your healthcare provider if you are experiencing any of these symptoms.
If you have purchased the following from Outpost, do not consume. Destroy and discard any remaining product. Sanitize refrigeration and home food prep areas. Out of an abundance of caution, we are also urging our customers to not consume Everything Sprouts broccoli and mung bean sprouts.
