Why do you want to be on the Outpost Natural Foods Board of Directors?
I am really passionate about healthy foods in our communities! I have been a customer of Outpost for almost twenty years and a member! I like how the stores operate and I want to be a part of it. I have been a part of several non-profit organizations that serve the Milwaukee Community. I want to continue this work with Outpost.
What professional skills do you bring to a Board position of a $50 million business?
My career as a banker working with all types of businesses can be an asset to Outpost. I have financed businesses both good and bad. As a consultant to non-profit and for-profit organizations is also an added benefit.
Describe your prior involvement with community organizations and/or cooperatives.
The most recent community organization I have been a part of is Riverworks RDC. I have been a Board member for several years. I was the President for Fondy Foods and a Board member for nine years including being the treasurer. I have been a part of civic and other non-profit groups as well in Milwaukee.
