Cacao Energy Bites With MacaBoost Cacao-Ginger

Maca is a cruciferous root, related to radish, with an earthy, nutty taste. It’s also high in nutrients and low in calories. These tasty bites are an easy way to enjoy this South American superfood.

Ingredients

4 heaping teaspoons of Gaia MacaBoost Cacao-Ginger*
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/4 cup of your favorite nut butter (we used peanut butter)
3 tablespoons honey
1/4 tablespoons chia seeds
1 tablespoon chocolate protein powder

Directions

1. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl.
2. Place in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes until chilled.
3. Once firmed, roll into balls and enjoy!
