Grilled Tilapia with Basil Citrus Sauce

Ingredients

Basil Citrus Sauce
1 garlic clove, peeled
2 teaspoons lemon zest
1/4 cup fresh basil leaves (reserve a few leaves for garnish)
1 tablespoon fresh squeezed lemon juice
1 tablespoon fresh squeezed lime juice
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
Tilapia
4 4-ounce fresh tilapia fillets
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning

Grilled Tilapia with Basil Citrus Sauce

Directions

1.    Place lemon zest and garlic clove in food processor. Pulse until finely chopped.
2.    Add basil leaves and pulse.
3.    Add lemon juice, lime juice, Dijon mustard and olive oil and pulse until combined. Set aside.
4.    Prepare fish by drizzling with 1 teaspoon of olive oil and season with lemon pepper. Grill or broil for approximately 2 minutes per side, depending on thickness, or until fish is opaque in color and flakes easily.
5.    Drizzle with Basil Citrus Sauce and garnish with reserved basil leaves. Serve immediately.
