Outpost’s 2025 Board of Directors election runs from 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 20, 2025 to Thursday, April 3, 2025 at 9:00 p.m.

There are five candidates running for three open seats on Outpost’s Board of Directors. The top three candidates who receive the most votes will each serve three-year terms.

Please return to this webpage during the election to cast your vote electronically or request a paper ballot at any Outpost service desk.

Please note: In reference to Outpost’s Bylaws, voter eligibility is based on owners keeping current in their Fair Share payments if not already fully paid. The cut-off date for new owners to vote in the 2025 board election was February 11, 2025 and the cut-off date for renewing owners to vote was March 2, 2025.

Outpost will donate $1 per owner ballot submitted in this year’s election to Kinship Community Food Center, a local non-profit that engages community members to end hunger, isolation and poverty through their innovative programs that include a fresh food market, an urban farm and collaborative meals.

Outpost Natural Foods is a multimillion-dollar community organization, led by a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and governed by a democratically elected Board of Directors. 

The Board of Directors carefully vets and nominates applicants for the final ballot, per Outpost Bylaw 4.3. The process includes a written application, an interview, and the requirement that the applicant has attended a board meeting. 

This year, four applicants were nominated by the Board to be on the slate of candidates. A fifth applicant's application was not selected but will be on the ballot because, per Outpost Bylaw 4.3, they petitioned for the necessary number of owner signatures.
