Dear Outpost Owners, many of you are pondering this question: Should I attend the March 8th Outpost Annual Meeting? My answer is, of course, yes!

This is a great opportunity to meet your board of directors, CEO Ray Simpkins, and perhaps most importantly, other Outpost co-operators.

Also, you won’t want to miss Ms. Venice Williams speak on Reclaiming and Nourishing Community Food Traditions. Venice is currently Executive Director of Alice’s Garden Urban Farm, Minister for The Table: a first-century-style community in the twenty-first century, Executive Director of Fondy Food Center, and Founder & Curator of the Kujichagulia Producers Cooperative. She identifies as a Cultural & Spiritual Midwife, strongly believing she was placed into Creation to help bring forth all that is good and whole in people, guiding them through the exploration of their life path. She also lives into the belief that the natural world has the power, images, and cycles to teach us everything we need to know on this journey. Food, farming and faith are the ethics her journey has been built upon.

This year’s Annual Meeting is being held at the newly renovated Prairie Springs on Park, located at 1420 E. Park Place on Milwaukee’s Eastside. So, be there or be square! Please attend and enjoy the afternoon, from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. on March 8th. I hope to see you there!
