4 bunches green kale
1/3 cup sesame oil
1/3 cup minced garlic
1/2 cup sesame seed, toasted
1 1/2 tablespoons tamari soy sauce

Emerald Sesame Kale

  1. Remove leaves from the center stalk of the kale and cut into 1/2-inch pieces. Rinse.In a large saucepan add 2 to 3 tablespoons of water, heat over medium flame, add kale pieces and steam until wilted, about 5-8 minutes.
  2. In sauté pan heat sesame oil, add garlic and sauté until it softens. Remove from heat and whisk in sesame seeds and tamari. Toss with the kale.

Per serving: 153 calories, 13g fat, 2g sat fat, 7g carbohydrates, 3g protein, 207mg sodium, 2g fiber, 67mg calcium
