Simple Garlic Herb Aioli

If you like mayonnaise, you will love this. Some kind of magic happens when you add fresh garlic and herbs to an already excellent condiment. It’s lush, flavorful and just a little tangy from the lemon juice. We like Delouis French aioli, but most any high quality traditional mayo will work. Needless to say this is also a great sandwich topper or dipper for fries. 
makes 1 1/4 cups

Ingredients

1 cup high quality mayonnaise or plain aioli

2 garlic cloves, very finely minced or mashed

1/4 cup fresh herbs such as chives, tarragon and parsley, finely chopped

Juice of 1/2 lemon

Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

1. Put mayonnaise into a small mixing bowl and add all ingredients.

2. Mix well and refrigerate before serving.
